But, I think most women have irregular periods at least once in their lifetime.
If your Doctor isn't worried, you probably shouldn't be.

Biggest reason to miss a period is pregnancy but if you have not had sex, stress is also a reason and having a bad diet could contribute to that too. If you notice that you are skinny or your heart beats fast, it may be an idea to get checked out for hyperthyroidism which is too much thyroid hormone and causes irregular/missed periods.

Try wearing latex gloves when you cut onions, your not alone I've noticed that too. So lately i've been using either frozen onions that are pre-cut or dried onion, it makes a huge difference. I think that the onion actually gets absorbed into your skin and therefore it takes awhile for your body to rid itself of the oder. Like I said try the gloves and if you can use a substitute for fresh onions.
Rinse onions in water for 15 minutes then cut them. I think it solve your problem.

no that is completely normal. i had the same thing. they are just a form of really bad cramps, and your stomach tries to fight them off my tightening the abdomen muscles. this creates a spasm in the stomach lining. you will be totally fine, just bend your knees close to your body with your arms wrapped around them for a couple of minutes and take some advil.

Its just hormones. I also crave a lot of starch and sugars around that time...Theres nothing you can do about that feeling, your body is prepping for blood loss. Just eat lots of carbs for energy..

Normally? I have only heard of drinking cranberry juice for a urinary tract infection. The Ocean Spray commercial claims the juice will help cleanse the body... but I don't think it has to do with THOSE parts! Besides, a woman's monthly period does this job all on it's own.

It usually takes 2-3 months for your body to become regulated again, after stopping the pill. As you stopped them in Oct, and it's been 4 months and your periods are not normal, you really need to see your doctor. It's very possible a hormonal imbalance is occurring, of which a simple blood test would show this. Most doctors/clinics are willing to work out a monthly payment plan that fits your budget so I would most definately get this looked into.

If it's two weeks early, I would think you are smack-dab in the middle of ovulation - some women experience a very small amount of bleeding while ovulating.
If you have experienced a change of diet, that might do it. Or if you have recently stopped using ibuprofen to treat period cramps - my friend used to take a lot of ibuprofen for cramps, and then when she quit, she got her next period just 21 days later.
If it happens again next time, you might want to go to a doctor just to be sure. But uteruses just do strange things every now and then, so if it's an isolated occurence, I wouldn't worry. Good luck!

OK, actually periods don't come every month they come every CYCLE, a cycle is typically about 28 days long but can be less or more depending on the woman. That said, I'm not sure how close together your periods actually were. For example, it would be normal for me to get my period on the first of the month and again on the 25th. That would be twice in the same month but only once per cycle. (am I making any sense here?)
Ok, that said, if your periods were close together for the first time, as in, they're usually regular and about 28 days apart, then I'd say wait and see what happens next month, you may be under stress, excercising more, eating differently, LOTS of things! You should know, pre-menopause is very rare and is accompanied my many other symptoms, none of which you mention here. OH! also, if you arre on a form of hormonal birth control, messing up in taking it can cause your period to come. Your body may be trying to readjust from not being on the pill. You best see your Gyn for a checkup and to find out what is happening.

When you first start your period it's okay for it to be quite irregular. Don't worry about a thing, okay? Mine was (and still is) irregular like that sometimes. I'm 14 and I started when I was 12. Don't fret or stress at all. Sometimes stress, athletics, a change in diet or exercise, etc.. can cause your period to be irregular sometimes as well, and there's nothing wrong with this. Make SURE you keep track of when you get your periods and for how long.
since it was just your first period in dec. it will take a little while for your period to get regulated. it will probably come and go right now, but give it a good couple of months and you will see that it will start coming the same time every month. dont worry this is completely normal.

I have a similar thing, but I usually get a bump before my period. Not every month, but frequently enough that I knew my period was on the way. Kind of like a big sore pimple. The bump would go away after my period was over. I asked my doctor, thinking it was some STD, and she said its the hormonal fluctuation that is causing a cyst (just a pocket of fluid). She said its nothing to worry about, but if it got too painful that she could cut it out. She thought that would most likely be more painful than the actual bump. Ask your doc the next time you get your pap..dont be embarassed. They hear a lot worse! Hope this helps!

I think most people want to have fun and dont want to dwell on their period but a period is a biological thing that you cant control . well our hormones can cause us to act differently whether we want to be in crappy moods or not! haha i suffer from pms half the time. & when cramps come & messy periods are around, you cant help but be stressed sometimes. ive gotten used to it & discovered the glorious tampon so i live easy. but for some its hard to relax & you just ogtta get through it!

Why are my nipples hard, swollen, and sore?

I am 35 and use the orthro-evra b/c patch. I have been using this patch for the last year an a half. For the past 6-8 mos. my nipples have become larger, not only that but my breasts feel hard and swollen and are sometimes really sore. Several times when they were really sore I have had some small amounts of discharge, usually at night. I have never been pregnant and never taken any breast enlargement pills. My doc(guy) doesnt seem alarmed about it, I'm fairly thin and I work out and eat a healthy diet. What gives?Why are my nipples hard, swollen, and sore?
if it's been going on for the last 6-8 months, and indeed you WERE pregnant, wouldn't you know it?? skip the test and get a second opinion from another doctor and go from there.

Why are my nails getting ridges on them??

I have psoriasis and that affects my fingernails. There are several causes for what you described though. Check out the link you may find your cause or answer there.
lack of vitamins
You need a full spectrum of minerals, not just calcium - the health food store will have a few brands, some in tablet or capsule and some in liquid form. I recommend New Chapter brand or Rainbow Light. Once you add this to your diet, the nails will smooth out as they grow.
I have the ridges too. It's a sign of an underactive thyroid gland, but it can also be a sign of a vitamin deficiency, kidney problems, or just part of getting older

Have you recently changed/started the contraceptive pill? - as this can make your breats tender and sore.
Have you had any other tablets recently?
It could just be that you are developing - obviously i dont know your age either! So sorry if your older!
If they are really really sore, go and see your nurse - she wont necc look at them, just ask you some questions.

How old are you? if you are a teenager it is because of increased hormones. If you are older, do a self breast exam and see what you find. Once again if this is a concern for you, go see your doctor.

Probably your spouse is putting too much pressure on them with his fingers. A gentle massage of the nipples or just rubbing the hands gently over them is all it needs.
