Why did i get my period twice this month ?

some say it's a cyst some say it's pre menopose ?Why did i get my period twice this month ?
First of all LOVE your pic, heh, fraggle rock. lol. OK, actually periods don't come every month they come every CYCLE, a cycle is typically about 28 days long but can be less or more depending on the woman. That said, I'm not sure how close together your periods actually were. For example, it would be normal for me to get my period on the first of the month and again on the 25th. That would be twice in the same month but only once per cycle. (am I making any sense here?)
Ok, that said, if your periods were close together for the first time, as in, they're usually regular and about 28 days apart, then I'd say wait and see what happens next month, you may be under stress, excercising more, eating differently, LOTS of things! If this continues, THEN you need to see a doctor. You mention pre-menopause so I'm assuming you're pretty young. You should know, pre-menopause is very rare and is accompanied my many other symptoms, none of which you mention here. A cyst is possible but I really wouldn't assume that if this is the first time its happened and you have no other symptoms. If you're still worried, you need to see a doc for tests. OH! also, if you arre on a form of hormonal birth control, messing up in taking it can cause your period to come. Like if you miss 2 b/c pills in a row your period will usually show up even if you already had it that month. just a thought. Good luck, but it really sounds like nothing serious to me.
well it really depends on your age, if you eat right or if you have a family history. more information would be needed.
