Since yeast is naturally present on the surface of the skin, why does it become itchy when it over grows into an infection? Why does a vaginal yeast infection itch?
Yes, but an infection disrupts the natural balance of pH levels in the vagina, causing an overproduction of yeast. Changes to the vaginal pH level can cause topical irritations.
i think it has something to do with the sweat and the moistness of the vagina. I currently have one and find that I cant stop scratching. I scratch so much the vulva is sore. I think your suppose to rub yogurt in your vagina
