Why are my nipples hard, swollen, and sore?

I am 35 and use the orthro-evra b/c patch. I have been using this patch for the last year an a half. For the past 6-8 mos. my nipples have become larger, not only that but my breasts feel hard and swollen and are sometimes really sore. Several times when they were really sore I have had some small amounts of discharge, usually at night. I have never been pregnant and never taken any breast enlargement pills. My doc(guy) doesnt seem alarmed about it, I'm fairly thin and I work out and eat a healthy diet. What gives?Why are my nipples hard, swollen, and sore?
if it's been going on for the last 6-8 months, and indeed you WERE pregnant, wouldn't you know it?? skip the test and get a second opinion from another doctor and go from there.

you are definatly pregnet! this happend to my aunt when she became pregnant! get a pregnincy tester!
