I am thinking of going on YasminWhich contraceptive pill was best for you?
I was very happy using Micronor, I only came off of it because of health issues (unrelated to the pill)
check with you Doctor before taking any medications
Well its best to consult a doctor or specialist.
I had been on Yasmin for about 6 months and had a rough start with it when I first went on it. I find that the Lo/Ovral did a better job for me.
As the other poster said pls check with your dr before starting any medication.
I took Yasmin for about 5 months and I loved it. Yasmin can be more expensive than other brands. That is why I switched to Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. I have been on this for about 4 months now. I then had to take a month again of Yasmin because I was not able to get to my doctor to pick up the Ortho. I have noticed a big difference between the two brands and like the Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo much better. I have been very sick with the Yasmin this month and changing brands usually do not effect many people. You will have to talk with your doctor to get a prescription, as I am sure you already know that. But make sure you look into a few different brands and check the costs. Each one works differently for everyone. I was spending about $55 dollars a month for Yasmin at the pharmacy and now only $21 a month for the Ortho at Planned Parenthood.
I love it!! I was so happy to not have any PMS symptoms!!! I had no problems when I switched from what I had been on for 5 years. I recommend it, if that is what your doctor suggests.
