For the past few months, I been getting frequent headaches at night. Along with the headaches, I have been getting dizzy and nauseous. I take Ibrofen and it usually takes care of it, but is it normal to get them every night and I feel fine during the day.Why am I getting headaches at night?
Have you experienced more stress in your home life or job in the past few months? Have you radically changed any products you use in the house or food that you eat, especially late in the day? Have your hormone levels changed (puberty, menopause or using birth control)?
I agree with an answerer above about drinking more water, within reason 80-100 oz. per day.
You also may be suffering for migraines. You need to see a physician as soon as possible for a diagnosis. You can't be sleeping well and this may be adding to it.
drink wayyyy more water!
Could you be sleeping on the wrong pillow? Or with too many/not enough pillows? I was getting headaches every night too: I changed to one of those ergonomic pillows and since then I've been headache free. The only time I get headaches now is if I stay in bed for too long, or fall asleep reading (I read with 3 pillows behind me). Hope you can find what's causing them - I know how miserable it is to wake up with a headache every day!
Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck.
Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at
