Something is wrong it may be something other then a yeast infection. It could be Trichomonas. You need to go to the doctor or clinic and get tested and get some medication because you can totally mess up your reproductive organs and not be able to have children.
Yeast infection usually looks like cream cheese. It would be a good idea to mention it to the doctor or his nurse. You could ask the nurse over the phone if it would make you feel better. Let someone know what's going on.
Thick cheese-like discharge, extreme itching both internal/ external, easily irritated more from urinating. Some greenish discharge could mean trace infection, but only a doctor can tell you for certain. Left untreated for long time can cause pain elsewhere and infection can be externally spread too partner! Can lead too pain in blower back/ kidneys/ bladder!
The symptoms of a yeast infection are: itching (sometimes, the reason I say sometimes is because I've met others who have had a yeast infection and never itched), a discharge that is like cottage cheese, there can be redness.
A greenish discharge I found was related to problems with Strep B in my case.
To be on the safe side I would recommend making an appt with your gyn to have this cultured.
